You can prevent water passage on the ridge line by using Roofer Ridge tape.

Q2- How to install Roofer Ridge Tape?

Roofer Ridge Tape should be unrolled onto the ridge beam, underneath ridge tile. The surface, to which the tape will be glued, should be properly cleaned and dried. Pleated sides of the tape should be profiled accordingly to match the shape of the roof covering. Peel off the protective liner from butyl and press firmly to roof covering to create a sealed connection.

Q3- Is it healthy to use mortar in the ridge line on roofs?

Using mortar on the ridge line is not a correct method. Because mortar is a rigid material in terms of its structure, it may crack due to structural movements over time and leak rainwater under the ridge line.

Q4- Which products should be used at the bottom of the chimney and walls of the roof?

Roofer Chimney Tape should be used for chimney and wall base on the roof.

Q5- How to install Roofer Chimney Tapes?

Profiled flashing tape for use in sealing and finishing works around chimneys, bay windows and roof windows. Characterized by three-dimensional surface pattern to enable application in hard-to-reach areas. Product can also be used for joining the roof with the wall.

Ridge clip is designed to enable fast and durable installation of ridge tiles on ridge and hip battens and strengthen ridge tiles against environmental challenges (wind, storm, earthquake, etc…)

Q7- What should be used to keep the ridge line fixed and look smooth?

Roofer Ridge batten grip should be used to make the ridge line look smooth and stand fixed in their position.

Q8- Which products can I use to prevent birds, insects and leaves that may penetrate from the eaves areas and other ventilation intakes?

You can prevent the penetration of birds, insects, rodents and wind-driven leaves by using Roofer Eaves grate and Roofer comb

Q9- Which products can I use around the wall base and chimney ?

You can use Roofer Chimney tape and Roofer EPDM Chimney around the wall base and chimney.

Q10- Where and how Roofer Chimney Strips are used?

Roofer Chimney Strips are used to fix the chimney tape to the bottom of the wall and chimneys by using fast screws. Following, that silicone or mastic materials should be used on its edges to ensure tight adhesion to the chimney.

Q11- Why is Roofer Vapour Barrier is used and how many types are available?

Roofer vapour Barrier is used to permeate water vapour on the roof and to prevent moisture and condensation in the roof. Different types according to their weight are available (120 gr / 1 m2, 140 gr / 1 m2, 170 gr / 1 m2)

Roofer Skylight should be used on the roof. Skylights are designed to enable periodic roof inspections, roof maintenance works as well as evacuation from the attic to the roof. Provides additional light and enables proper ventilation of the attic space in a sloping roof.
